Brittany Given is an attorney licensed to practice by the Supreme Courts of Tennessee and Washington. Ms. Given became interested in pursuing a career in immigration law while living in Miami, where she was inspired by the stories of the many immigrants she met who came to the United States in search of a better life. Her passion for advancing the rights of immigrants was solidified when she met her husband Carlos, an immigrant from Colombia. Ms. Given graduated from the University of Miami and obtained her law degree from Stetson University College of Law, where she graduated with honors. Prior to founding Given Immigration Law, Ms. Given worked as an immigration attorney at Ozment Law, Tennessee Justice for Our Neighbors, and Northwest Immigrant Rights Project. Ms. Given resides in Lebanon with her husband Carlos, son Carlitos, cat, and three dogs.
Brittany Given es abogada con licencia para ejercer por las Cortes Supremas de Tennessee y Washington. La Sra. Given se interesó en la carrera de derecho migratorio mientras vivía en Miami, donde se inspiró en las historias de los numerosos inmigrantes que conoció y que llegaron a Estados Unidos en busca de una vida mejor. Su pasión por promover los derechos de los inmigrantes se consolidó cuando conoció a su esposo Carlos, un inmigrante colombiano. La Sra. Carlos Porras Marin is Attorney Given's legal assistant and husband. He graduated from University of South Florida with a degree in management and finance. He worked as a loan technician officer for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for five years before coming to work at Given Immigration Law. As an immigrant himself, Carlos is passionate about fighting for the rights of immigrants.
Carlos Porras Marín es el asistente legal y esposo de la abogada Given. Se graduó de la Universidad del Sur de Florida con un título en administración y finanzas. Trabajó como oficial técnico de préstamos para el Departamento de Agricultura de EE. UU. durante cinco años antes de venir a trabajar en Given Immigration Law.
